Courses

A variety of courses is offered in either English or in German. It is generally possible to achieve 30 ECTS by participating in German-language or in English-language courses.
The following table shows a general overview for the teaching courses available for incoming MEST students. Moreover, based on individual agreements with the local MEST coordinator, MEST students may choose courses from other faculties (e.g., psychology, law) as well.

Normally, the winter term begins in mid-October and the summer term in mid-April. In general, we recommend to arrive a couple of weeks early in Trier to find a room, familiarize yourself with the campus, participate in orientation activities offered by the international office, and so on, but this is not obligatory. Updated information can be retrieved from the following link.
Primarily, you have to arrange the choice of courses with your home university. Experience shows that many incoming MEST-students attend four to six courses (depending on the ECTS).
The following table gives an overview of the courses offered during the summer term.
